Social Futures partners with Giuntabell and Sage Intacct to transform their accounting and financial reporting systems.

For over 40 years Social Futures has delivered positive social change for regional and remote communities of Australia. As a regionally based community provider servicing more than 80% of NSW and areas of South East Queensland, Social Futures delivers expert training, development and advocacy programs tailored for local communities. Working directly with individuals, families, communities, organisations and governments across the state, they focus on the areas of mental health, homelessness and housing, youth and family support services, community inclusivity, and programs that promote genuine participation for people with disabilities.

In recent years Social Futures has achieved extraordinary growth and regional expansion with full time employees increasing from 100 to over 350 and annual turnover now approaching $40m. The organisation identified a need for improved financial software and reporting solutions to better manage the high volume of transactions and additional reporting requirements resulting from increased funding and grants. The limitations of it's previous accounting software resulted in numerous issues including inefficient month end processes limited reporting capabilities and an inability to integrate with other systems.

Giuntabell began by establishing a clearer understanding of business requirements, current pain points and opportunities for improvement. Working closely with CFO Michael Carter and his team, Giuntabell recommended Sage Intacct, a highly intuitive, cloud financial management solution that delivers accounting capabilities for not-for-profit organisations, as well as scale-up and enterprise businesses. Sage Intacct will help Social Futures gain real-time financial insights and automate complex processes whilst integrating with Martus Budget as well as future software additions if required.
